Your positivity muscle is strong when you can find possibilities and hope in situations of adversity. This muscle is useful because it helps you engage in efforts to address a challenge, rather than giving up or wasting energy in emotions like anger and frustration.
Some simple daily exercises you can use to strengthen this muscle include:
Appreciation/Gratitude: At the end of each day, take time to think of one thing you appreciate or are grateful for that day. If you like, you can even keep a journal to write down the positives for each day.
Reflection: Think of something that happened in the past that seemed negative at the time, and identify a positive thing that came out of it.
